Salita

Salita is a simulation browser game developed for the Web Game Dev Challenge 2 taking place on Webgamers and Pewn from 21.04.2017 to 22.05.2017.

You take over a family in medieval Italy and are supposed to lead it to fame through marriage, building, trading and production.

The game supports only German language. Also, only Chrome and Firefox are supported. To find out more visit the project page on pewn.

Credits

I've collected work from different artists that I edited in GIMP to create the images that can be found in /resources/images/. A huge thank you goes to all of them!

The background tile

The roof tiles, and the sails of the wind-mill by The Chayed - KIIRA, licensed under CC-BY 3.0. I just colored them differently and rearranged them in order to form all roofs seen here.

The trees and all the amazing foliage by chabull, licensed under CC-BY 3.0.

The roads by chabull, licensed under CC-BY 3.0. I added some semi-transparent blurring for the end of the road.

The chimneys, the boxes, the barrels, the carts, the wells and the bucket by Marc Gilbert, licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0. I extracted them from his work.

The stone ground tiles by Marta Nowaczyk, licensed under CC-BY 3.0. I partly transformed them to end smoothly.

The stonewall made by The Sim. On the download-page it reads: “This art is free for all to use without restriction, but partial artistic credit must by attributed to "The Sim" for any commercial work.”

The wood-piles and the wooden fence have been extracted from work by GreyTale. On the download-page it reads: “This art is free for all to use without restriction, but partial artistic credit must by attributed to "GreyTale" for any commercial work.”

License

I license all the work under /resources/images/ under CC-BY-SA 4.0. Attribution goes to eitelkalk and to the authors of the original work mentioned above if you use (part of) their work. The full license text can be found in /license/.

Further, I license the software under the MIT License, which can be found in LICENSE.TXT.
