YCS Auto Minimize

A user script to minimize the YCS (YouTube Comment Search) and YCScont menu on YouTube pages, saving screen real estate. This script auto-toggles between minimized and maximized states based on your preferences. The menu is minimized by default, and the state is remembered across page reloads.

Features

  • Minimize and maximize the YCS menu with a single click.
  • Remember the menu state between page reloads.
  • Auto-toggle between minimized and maximized states based on user preference.
  • Accessibility improvements with an aria-label for better screen reader support.
  • Fully integrated with YouTube’s layout, adapting to the theme.

Installation

  1. Install a userscript manager such as Tampermonkey or Greasemonkey.
  2. Create a new script and paste the code from this repository.
  3. Once installed, the script will automatically minimize the YCS menu when you visit YouTube pages.
