After a long time without tagging a release, finally bringing some packaging to the project seems like a nice point to do so.
On the feature side, a more succinct and overall improved matching heuristic is now employed, and Unicode is now enabled per default as the performance penalty seems to be negligible. Under the hood, the little code that belongs to the project has been refactored a bit to reduce duplication and inconsistent behavior of custom definitions vs. Unicode symbols.
Apart from these points, most improvements over the previous release 1.0.4 involve a much more streamlined installation and building process, notably installing without building and automated packaging into .deb and .tar.gz.
