Installation

1. Clone Repository

git clone https://github.com/decoded15/resume-analyzer.git
cd resume-analyzer

2. Create Virtual Environment

python -m venv venv

Activate Environment

Windows

venv\Scripts\activate

Mac/Linux

source venv/bin/activate

3. Install Dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Add Gemini API Key

Create a .env file inside backend/

GEMINI_API_KEY=your_api_key_here

Running The Project

Start FastAPI Backend

uvicorn app.main:app --reload

Backend runs on:

http://127.0.0.1:8000

Start Streamlit Frontend

streamlit run streamlit_app.py

Frontend runs on:

http://localhost:8501
