GSoC2015_Progress_Navin

Warmup Period Performed the required warmup tasks for the JSONpedia project. Set up a local JSONpedia instance, and hooked it up with ElasticSearch and Mongo, and processed a couple of Wiki dumps, both manually and using the script loader.

25 May - 31 May Initial discussion with mentor, Michele Mostarda. Discussed both the project as well as how to maintain communication. Started providing biweekly updates (Monday and Thursday). Started going through the codebase and logging the details in a personal blog.

1 Jun - 7 Jun Continued making notes about the codebase in the blog. Started looking at issues to start working on. Initially I had worked a little on the command line tool for JSONpedia, so continued work on it.

8 Jun - 14 Jun Had a prototype for the command line tool ready. Discussed some of the shortcomings of the approach I've used. Also, started writing tests for the same. Also worked on the online CSV exporter tool. Discussed some of the approaches to be used for the same, and had a PoC ready for it.

15 Jun - 21 Jun Start of end sem formalities meant I couldn't really contribute much this week. Still managed to put in some more time for the Online CSV exporter tool. Had a couple of minor issues that come up, but none of them were showstoppers thankfully.

22 Jun - 28 Jun End Sem Finals. Didn't do any major GSoC work this week.
