Twitter Extension for Opera Sidebar is an extension for opera sidebar that shows twitter website in the opera sidebar :_)

You can use this source code with the developer mode to generate your iwn crx file or load as uncompressed extension. You can drag and drop the crx file (it is inside the crx folder) into the Opera extensions panel. Submit to Opera addons website is in the ToDo List.
Install in your Opera browser and click on the twitter icon located in the sidebar.
