NodeJS Restful API

The goal of this demo is to provide an example of how to create a Restful API with Node.js using MongoDB.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have installed the latest LTS version of Node.js and MongoDB.

If you want to start with data run (optional):

mongo bookAPI < dbSeeder.js

Running the Application

1. Run npm i.

2. Run npm run start.

API is running on http://localhost:3080/.

Tests with curl

Get all resources:

Get one resource by ID:

Create a resource:
