How to recreate HGNC data

  1. Navigate to the HGNC downloads
  2. Download the full data set from the respective link
  3. Update paths in script GenOtoScope/extract_gene_strands.py
  4. Run script and save output file (HGNC full data set appended with gene strand) as /path2genotoscope_data/genotoscope_data/hgnc_complete_set_strand.txt
