Hi Hooram, the OpenSHC auto-navigation mode is for accepting velocity commands from an external node. While the OpenSHC auto-navigation mode was tested with our internal navigation stack, that software has not been open sourced. Although I have not used it personally, I would suggest using something like ROS Navigation http://wiki.ros.org/navigation to get your legged platform navigating autonomously with OpenSHC.
