Covid-19 Data Visualization - Neighbourhoods in Toronto

Project adapted from the course Methods of Data Analysis II (STA303/1002) at the University of Toronto.

Project Description

An exploratory analysis project using data from the City of Toronto's Open Data resource to visualize Covid-19 within the neighbourhoods of Toronto. Skills utilized in this project:

  • Data Cleaning and Wrangling
  • Exploratory Analysis
  • Data Visualization

Tools:

  • R (tidyverse, dplyr)

Special Notes

  • As of June 14, 2022 - Ontario has begun weekly reporting as opposed to daily reporting
  • Ontario has also reduced testing, impacting the numbers shown on this project

Data Source

The data used has been obtained from the City of Toronto's Open Data resource
