DWA-160Wireless Utility

An old D-Link project that I redid to adapt it to macOS Big Sur 11

Works for macOS Big Sur 11 only! (DO NOT USE ON OTHER OS's)

• Warning: this package replaces system files and could render your system unbootable.

• Update 17 august 2021 Program is fix Test in Big Sur 11.5.1, Big Sur 11.5.2 (succes)

Support Drivers: ☞ (Mediatek)

• MT7601, MT7610, RT5370, RT2870, RT3071, RT2770, RT5572, RT3572, RT3072, RT3070, RT3573, MT7621U
• ( 🚫 It does not work on Realtek adapters)

To using this program SIP security (Fully disable)

• csrutil disable

• csrutil authenticated-root disable

• Gatekeeper must be disable

• OpenCore or Clover config setup:

• csr-active-config ☞ EF0F0000

Warning: Do not use RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext in bootloader injection as this will cause a conflict.

• This package Install system files in /S/L/E and could render your system unbootable.
• If you change the csr active config values, make sure to do a Reset NVRAM before rebooting the system.

This program will install RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext /System/Library/Extensions.

install DWA-160WirelessUtility.prefPane /System/Library/PreferencePanes.

install D-LinkUtility /Applications
