Final Updates

Fembot has reached the end of it's SDLC, and I will effectively be ending all further development. It has truly been a great experience, and I've been happy to work on this bot.

Fembot will remain plugged in and continue to be hosted for the foreseeable future while I work on other projects.

Brief updates before you go:

  • Some functions were removed for professionalism
  • This bot functions on Python 3.6 or later
  • Due to recent updates with the Discord.py library, some functions will not work on the latest branch pull & update.

I wont be accepting any requests for help with this software, it comes as is.

Official Release of v3.1.0 & Database~

v3.1.0 update!

Version three has already been in a working environment for a few months now.


This Versioning update serves to:

I'm bringing a few updates from the past few months of work / etc.

  • I've implemented a new SQL Database that will open up a lot future opportunities for Fembot and other server functions.
  • The Wiki has been built, and will be maintained as new features are added.
  • Fembot will continue support / Development for the foreseeable future.
  • Github commits have and may continue to slow down, due to environmental testing.

The following changes were implemented in version release 3.0.0 (and 3.0.1 updates -> 3.0.2)

✓ Repositories have officially transitioned, the old Git-repo is now archived.
✓ Host-Server has near 95% uptime, save for unforeseen and uncontrollable outages via ISP
✓ A database is currently in the works given this transition.
✓ A wiki is being built for bot information. HAS BEEN MADE!

Finally -

Discord.py is no longer being maintained by it's sole creator, maintainer, and xyz so on so forth; long story short. You can read Danny's write up on that here.

I will not be migrating Fembot to slash commands

I have toyed with the idea, and attempted to implement it in certain environments - however due to the size and complexity of Fembot in it's current state; the effort is not feasible.
