Hi, I'm Carla López Lloreda (she/her) and welcome to my GitHub page👋

  • I'm currently a PhD candidate at Virginia Tech working in the Hotchkiss lab
  • 💧 I am interested in carbon and nutrient cycling in aquatic ecosystems and my dissertation research focuses on wetland greenhouse gas dynamics
  • 📚 I'm also interested in science communication and education
  • 🌲 Previously, I worked as a research technician in Puerto Rico, working in soil and aquatic biogeochemistry
