Vault login could fill credentials over HTTP, and a localhost navigation could switch the configured browser to a local one. Require HTTPS and an allowed hostname before each credential fill and submit, require hosted session logging to be disabled, and keep browser selection under operator configuration. Explicit navigation accepts HTTP(S) URLs without embedded credentials.
Also pin Eve’s Undici dependency to 8.10.2 to address its published advisories. This draft is based on the existing shared-runtime branch so the diff stays focused.
Validation: 108 runtime tests passed, including 15 security regression tests; 7 opt-in tests skipped. Typecheck, lint, production build, shared-library build, and the local Linq runner self-test passed. Twelve of the new tests failed against the previous runtime.
The full dependency audit still reports GHSA-vfj7-8cjw-p6xm in the development lint toolchain (
braces@3.0.3); no patched release is published. It is not suppressed. Live Browserbase, vault login, Baselayer, and messaging flows were not exercised by this security pass.
