- Node: (preferred) Node 0.4.0 or later.
- Java: Java 1.6 or later.
- Browser: as of 2.1.2, the optimizer can run in a web browser that has array extras. While the optimizer options are the same as shown below, it is called via JavaScript instead of command line options. It is also only good for generating optimized single files, not a directory optimization. See the browser example. This option is really only useful for providing web-based custom builds of your library.

The easiest way to get started with Foundation + Compass.
- Download this starter compass project and unzip it
- Run
bower install
to install the latest version of Foundation
Then when you're working on your project, just run the following command:
compass watch
If you'd like to upgrade to a newer version of Foundation down the road just run:
bower update
If you'd like to push changes to production then run build script. Build script will minimize all the application and updated the html.
