We've been lucky to UI3 provide the space for 2018 and 2019, but I believe the biostatistics department will be taking ownership of the space so I am unsure of who to contact to see if the 5th floor of the College of Public will be available.
Use whenisgood to select dates.
Contact previous registrants, the uiowa neuroimaging group, and hacky hour group to get an idea of what days work best for most people (sometime in July).
Make a proposed schedule for the brainhack, in addition to the 2019 reference, you can use this article to help you design a schedule.
Work with the Head of Content and Head of Food to make sure events flow smoothly.

- Determine where presentations/tutorials/unconferences will be held.
- Decide where the open hacking areas will be.
- Decide where the food will be brought in.
- Decide where sign-in will be.
- Find trash and recycling bins and place them in the space.
- Find outlets and determine if supplemental power strips are needed.
- Find out how to record presentations and tutorials.
- Create signs to direct people to the space
- Know how to setup up and tear down the space
