Countryname lists global country name standards (e.g. unstats, FIPS, stanag, cia world factbook) and the connections between them. It also contains code to convert common misspellings of country names into standard names and codes.
Current status is design.
- Python 2.7+ (2.7.3 recommended)
- Windows, OS X, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian etc) operating systems
Install CountryName by downloading the CountryName code from github
Countryname only supports CSV and XML file formats - all other formats will be converted.
