I've been thinking again about this. This package is not deprecated as it is still useful. Not to us but others may find it useful for sure. The truth is that we are not going to maintain this repo, but there is no maintenance to do as the ERC-20 ABI will no change and there are no dependencies to update either.
Perhaps we could add a simpler note advising viem users to use the ABI exposed by them instead of this one. But that's it.
