Local development

Requirements: Docker, Gleam, Just, and dbmate.

Create a .env file with the required database and server configuration, then start the application from the repository root:

just dev

Open http://localhost:8000.

For automatic rebuilds while editing, use just dev-watch instead. When you are finished, stop the server with Ctrl+C and stop the development containers:

docker compose -f docker-compose.dev.yml down

This keeps the local PostgreSQL data. Adding -v deletes it.
