Description of feature

A new version of comet has been released Comet v2024.01.0 https://github.com/UWPR/Comet/releases. The new version includes some major changes, including the way to define the precursor tolerances and total number of modifications. We should do the following:

• Generate the corresponding conda package @ypriverol
• Update the OpenMS Adapter @ypriverol @timosachsenberg
• Update quantms @daichengxin @ypriverol

What is the main motivation to make this high-priority?
Quickly skimmed over the changelog and wasn't sure if it is "nice to have" or really needed now.

I will remove the priority. I did see that they fix a couple of bugs with the scores of some low-quality PSMs. But you are probably rigth, is not high priority.
