Hi there 👋

My name is Bhavul and I love to drive innovation and build products. I'm a Senior Research Engineer currently working for Meta AI in their Meta Superintelligence Lab around ideas of self-improvement. In recent past, I was supporting fine-tuning Large Language Models and Latent Diffusion Models as well as Prompting science to build innovative new products for Ads. Before GenAI, I was building foundational models to understand users for improving Reels and Video recommendations. Prior to Meta, I worked as a Research Scientist (ML Tech Lead) at Zapr driving Applied NLP Research and also their Recommendation System efforts.

I have supported and engaged in independent AI research too. I was a core researcher with Manifold RG in 2023-2024.
Feel free to reach out for collaboration, we are living in very interesting times, and I'll be happy to contribute to a vision for positive future with AI. I also enjoy automating things and so I try to maintain some grip on full stack knowledge for the same. I'm an advocate for Open Source and "AI for Good", and enjoy giving talks at conferences or tech meetups.
