Milford UI is a theme to adapt the UI of Joplin's desktop application.

NOTE - In order to get the best result, it is highly recommended to set the internal color theme to
Dark
. For details please see Installation.
⚠️ CAUTION - Requires Joplin v1.4.18 or newer
This theme changes the following parts of the user interface.
- Clean user interface with dark colors
- Colored tags
- Clean note list including floating buttons to create new notes/to-dos
- Floating editor toolbar at the bottom of the editor content
- Not supported for TinyMCE
- Local search inlined within tag list
- Improved style of panel splitters
- Highlighted while dragging
- Changed style of synchronize area and button
- Floating TOC on the right for rendered Markdown mode

- Open Joplin
- Navigate to
Tools > Options > Appearance
and selectDark
asTheme
- Apply changes and close Options
- Open the user profile directory via
Help > Open profile directory
- Download the latest userstyle.css and userchrome.css into the opened user profile directory
- Restart Joplin to see the changes
- Open Joplin
- Navigate to
Tools > Options > Appearance
- Click
