Bacalhau project report 20220926
A large part of the team is working together on developing examples -- and, when finding UX or other bugs in the system -- stopping to knock down those bugs before continuing with the examples. In this way, the production system will be made more robust, forged in the fires of production :-)
Simon joined today and already wrote up an excellent doc capturing the meeting we had this morning to kick off Native WASM support. Check it out! Comments in #bacalhau or on issue #664 please!
Currently in google docs, but about to be migrated over onto docs.bacalhau.org, Kai did an amazing job of updating the architecture docs to be fully up-to-date with the latest architecture. Verifiers and Publishers are now fully explained!
We now have some big-picture planning visible through GitHub issues in the form of epics on the project kanban board. We are assigning significant threads of work (epics) to individual contributors as we scale the team, to scale ownership and responsibility:
We now have a Bacalhau design docs google drive folder, and two new design docs are up:
- Simulator design doc for the verification protocol
- Smart contract design doc for the path to consensus
We are restarting work on the Filecoin+ dashboard to incentivize SPs via Filecoin+ blessed deals for Bacalhau job output data.
We're working on these in the background, more soon!
