VoiceSurf is a Chrome extension designed to help physically disabled users navigate the web using voice commands. With simple voice instructions, users can scroll, click links, and navigate to different URLs, making web browsing more accessible and convenient.

Clone the Repository

Navigate to the Directory
cd VoiceSurf

Load the Extension in Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/
. - Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
- Click on the "Load unpacked" button and select the
VoiceSurf
directory.
- Open Chrome and go to
- Click on the VoiceSurf icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
- Click the "Start Listening" button to begin voice recognition.
- Use voice commands to control your browser:
- "Scroll down": Scroll the page down.
- "Scroll up": Scroll the page up.
- "Click [element description]": Click a link or button with the specified description.
- "Go to [URL]": Navigate to the specified URL.
