Tutorial-DESI-DR1

Tutorial for using the DESI DR1 data. Before the public release, this is only available to DESI members with data access. After the public release, it will be available to all, noting that respecting the DESI data license and acknowledgements is mandatory.

Instructions

1. Prior to the public release, authorized users (DESI members) need to create a CSDC SSO account with their DESI NERSC email: https://sso.csdc.noirlab.edu/account/signup/
2. Register for an Astro Data Lab account here: https://datalab.noirlab.edu/account/register.html
3. Go to Astro Data Lab's JupyterLab and sign in with your Astro Data Lab username and password
4. Launch a terminal instance in JupyterLab and clone the Tutorial-DESI-DR1 repository:
   git clone https://github.com/astro-datalab/Tutorial-DESI-DR1.git
