Generate Deliverables (Reporting) Requirements

Context:

As an architect I would manage the complete life cycle of my building blocks and on request generate a deliverable that I want to share with my stakeholders . To achieve this goal I need a tool that is capable to; Manage my building blocks in a structure manner Create views based on the building blocks Generate several types of deliverables that are based on collection of views.

This section describe primary the aspect of generating deliverables (several types of documents). I would like to see the following type of documents, including the necessary artifacts (catalogs, matrices, diagrams):

• Architecture Principles
• Architecture Vision Document
• Architecture Requirement Specification
• Architecture Definition Document
• Architecture Roadmap

Requirements

Create a form of a delivery template based on a collection of views. The delivery template is used to generate the documentation.

• The possibility to add existing views from the repository in the delivery template.
• The possibility to re-order the list of views in the delivery template. The order should reflect the order in the documentation.
• The possibility to add hierarchy to the delivery template, so that it reflect the presentation of chapters and paragraphs.
• The possibility too add numbers to chapters and paragraphs in the delivery template
• The possibility to change the presentation of a view in a deliverable (create a catalog, matrices or a diagram)
• The possibility to show or hide details of a building blocks in a specific view based on concept type or a selection
