This is Web based Satellite tracking System using predict as back end system. I wanted to have a online satellite tracking system that could controle my websdr and openwebrx.
This project just started and is not complete yet.
- Google map with moving Satellites.
- Websdr Dopler tracking of Satelites.
- OpenwebRX Dopler tracking of Satellites.
- Automatic TLE update.
- Possible Satellite Telemetry decoding.
- Possible hosting of telemetry data
- Linux UBUNTU 16.04 +
- predict from http://www.qsl.net/kd2bd/predict.html
- Apache apt-get install apacahe2
- php sudo apt-get install php
- google map key (get it from googgle)
- git sudo apt-get install git
- Mysql sudo apt-get mysql.
Run predict in server mode on udp port 1210 ( u mite have to setup your ground station details the first time)
Run the following command
nd start the predict server
run the following commands in the sh directory to update the TLE data and load in satelite db of predict
import_satellites_into_db.sh predict_tle_update.sh
sudo predict -s
We can now test to see if the jason php scripts can see the predict server
