Shows the real time view of the Moon, providing information about the current Moon phase.

This code has been originally belonged to the set of "shallow sky" astronomy applets, developed by Akkana Peck as long ago as in 1996 to run on Sharp Zaurus PDA. These series, named "akklets" by the developer, also includes live views of other planets. These applets have been released under GPL license.

In 2010 the code the was picked by Ultrastudio.org project where some cleanup has been done, mostly around the StarDate class, getting the applet to work again. Ultimately in 2014 the code was ported to Android.
