The Automated Meeting Room Booking System aims to automate the process of booking a meeting room in a company. This project helps the employees in a company book meeting rooms so as to plan their meetings accordingly and to avoid any clashes. Without such a system the employees will have to physically check if the meeting room is available or not, there is also no proper record of the employees attending a particular meeting. This project helps in overcoming such problems and helps the employees organise meetings properly.

The admin creates and configures the meeting rooms so that a manager can search and book a meeting room. Only the managers are allowed to book a meeting room. The manager can choose the amenities in a meeting room as per the requirement. (Amenities include Projector, Wifi Connection, Conference call ability, Whiteboard, Water dispenser, TV, Coffee Machine). The meeting room has a per hour cost (in credits) based on the amenities and the seating capacity. Managers have 2000 credits, when booking the room they will have to pay the per hour cost from these credits. The per hour cost is calculated by adding all the credits for the amenities that the manager has chosen along with the seating capacity. On every Monday the credits are reset to 2000.

One meeting room can have any number of meetings. There can also be different types of meetings like Classroom training, Online training, Conference call and Business. There is also a feature to edit the meeting room for Manager's convenience.

After a meeting ends, the application asks the users for feedback on the meeting room.

As a result of this project, the managers can book meeting rooms, keep track of meetings and also keep a record of employees attending a particular meeting. This application makes the process of booking a meeting room more efficient and is an asset to its users.
