ImageLoader =========== Keep track of images you need loading in your JavaScript files. Creation -------- This shows the basic use: var imageLoader = new ImageLoader( { "images": [ { "name":"image-name", file: "path/to/image.png" }, ], "onAllLoaded": function() {}, "onImageLoaded": function() {} } ); images (required): pass in a list of filenames. Optionally, add a string (name:) or a number (id:) to each image item to reference them, alternatively just use the position in the list. onAllLoaded(): this function will be called once all the images have loaded. onImageLoaded(name,image): this function will be called each time an image has finished loading. Methods ------- Once created there are several functions you can call: getImageByPosition(p) : return the image at position p, null returned if not finishing loading, undefined if position not available. getImageByName(n) : return the image with name n, null returned if not finishing loading, undefined if position not available. getImageById(i) : return the image with id i, null returned if not finishing loading, undefined if position not available. loadedIds(a) : return whether the array of id's have been loaded. loadedNames(a) : return whether the array of names's have been loaded. loadedAll() : return whether all the images have loaded. Examples -------- var imageLoader1 = new ImageLoader( { "images": [ { "id":101, file: "path/image1.png" }, { "id":102, file: "path/image2.png" } ], "onAllLoaded":function() { alert( "Images loaded" ); } } ); var imageLoader2 = new ImageLoader( { "images": [ { "name":"image1", file: "path/image1.png" }, { "name":"image2", file: "path/image2.png" } ], "onImageLoaded":function(name,image) { alert( "Image " + name + " loaded" ); } } );
