npm run dev
After committing your changes to master:
git checkout -b gh-pages-build master
NODE_ENV=production npm run build
echo downloads.aeternity.io > .vuepress/dist/CNAME
git add -f .vuepress/dist
git commit -m "Deploy to GitHub pages"
git push origin `git subtree split --prefix .vuepress/dist gh-pages-build`:gh-pages --force
git checkout master && git branch -D gh-pages-build
If the project is not deployed to a root path, it can be changed during the build:
BASE_PATH='/web-downloads/' npm run build
- Use Node 16 for building locally. VuePress v1 (webpack 4) can fail on newer Node versions with OpenSSL errors. If you see errors like
ERR_OSSL_EVP_UNSUPPORTED
, switch Node:
nvm use 16
After a successful build, you can validate that key build artifacts exist:
npm run smoke
This checks for .vuepress/dist/index.html
and main JS assets.
