This website shows the academic trajectory of Anderson Chaves Carniel. Currently, Anderson Chaves Carniel is an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos since December 2020. From February 2019 to December 2020, he was an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná. He received the Master degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil, in 2014, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo, São Carlos, Brazil, in 2018. From 2015 to 2018, he was a teaching assistant at the University of São Paulo. His research interests include spatial databases, spatial data science, extensible databases, spatial indexing, data warehousing and OLAP, spatial fuzziness, and spatial databases on emerging storage devices. He has conducted research projects funded by Brazilian research agencies like CAPES, CNPq, and FAPESP.
