Luca is a chrome extension to watch movies together! With Luca you can start movie parties with friends using any Video on any website online.

Here's why you should use Luca :

  • Luca is Free, and it will always be.
  • With Luca, you can start movie parties and invite all of your friends to watch it with you 😄 .
  • Luca works on all websites! Website not working? report an issue
  • You can build your friends list and join parties from all over the words.
  • Use chat and reactions to have interactive movie parties.
  • You can build your own movies library, and view other people libraries.

Getting Started

To setting up Luca locally, clone the repo and follow the follwoing steps.

Prerequisites

The extension requires npm and nodejs to be installed on your device.

  • npm
    npm install npm@latest -g

Installation

Below is an example of how you can instruct your audience on installing and setting up your app. This template doesn't rely on any external dependencies or services.

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/abozanona/luca.git
  2. Install NPM packages
    npm install
  3. Run the dev command to keep tracking the changed files
    npm run dev
  4. Load the dist folder in your browser.
