Orangueen

Orangueen is a dark theme with accents of green, blue, and orange with hints of gold.

If you have any feedback on any component or colors or a problem using it in any application, please submit an issue!

Orangueen originally started as an attempt to theme my various apps like my Dark Gold theme, but then grew into something much more. Orangueen is meant for dark themes, with orange being the important header, title and code bits; blue for non-critical headers and quotes, and green for various formatting; which all results in a nice, dark theme with pops of color throughout.

The Name Orangueen is just a contraction of Orange + Blue + Green (or Orange + Blue + Green )

Using Orangueen in Applications

QOwnNotes

As of QOwnNotes version 22.1.10, this theme is included as one of the provided/built-in themes!

Use the built-in theme

To see and use it:

  1. Go to Note > Settings
  2. In the settings tree, find Editor fonts & colors under Interface > Editor
  3. In the drop down under Color schema, select Orangueen image

Modifying the built-in theme

To modify any aspect of Orangueen in QOwnNotes, like changing any colors, fonts, font sizes, etc, simply:

  1. select the theme using the instructions above
  2. click the Copy button
  3. You can now rename, modify, and change anything you don't like.

Manual Install

  1. Download the Orangueen.ini file to any location on your computer.
  2. Open QOwnNotes
  3. Go to Note > Settings
  4. In Settings, go to Editor fonts & Colors
  5. Click the "Import" button
  6. Browse to the Orangueen.ini file you downloaded
  7. Edit any of the items that you want to change
  8. Click the "Copy" button to make a copy of the theme to modify without modifying the original.
