Engineering Managers
Vets Who Code Engineering Managers are the main point of contact for students and communities throughout the organization. The idea is to have empathetic individuals who understand the tech industry help to guide students to success. We need people who are invested in students at an individual level.
- Introduction messages
- Setting up meetings with devs
- Advocating for devs/resourcing to org
- Counseling growth paths
- Ensuring success of devs and the org
Cohorts should be about 4 students, with cohorts lasting approximately 14 weeks. Each student should get an hour long One on One per week. We'd also like a bi-weekly hour long sprint retro/planning. 4 students * 14 weeks + 7 retro/plannings => 63 hours
per cohort.

Engineering Managers need to be able to demonstrate empathy, organization, trust in the organization, industry knowledge.
