Couple of hot fixes this release
What's coming (1.6.x onward)
We are now in the process of expanding our infrastructure to allow for more functionality. Currently the focus is on expanding subscriptions options, provide a gallery in the app, enhance the desktop tool, and experiment with new a UI
Eventually the app will have proper offline support instead of simply telling the user where their files are stored
The web portal will remain a simple tool to access your cloud from anywhere, no new features are planned at this time for the web portal. blazed-sync will be the main tool for desktop use
What's Changed
- Develop by @TheRedSpy15 in #143
Full Changelog: 1.5.2...1.5.3
1.5.2
hotfix for missing translation and toggle in settings not properly enabling/disabling sync without app restart. Also updated a dependency
What's Changed
- Develop by @TheRedSpy15 in #140
Full Changelog: 1.5.1...1.5.2
1.5.1
With this release, Blazed Cloud now has the ability to automatically upload image/videos from selected folders. We are now starting migrations to a new upload API endpoint that is more secure, the old one is now deprecated and will be removed soonish. Please update ASAP
Sync Usage Notes!
Due to Android filesystem restrictions, and especially the Playstore's strict policies nowadays, we are not declaring the android.permission.MANAGE_MEDIA
as the sync function would not classify as a "core function of the app" to Google. Thus, with only access to media (photos & videos), you'll likely want to only use the directory that your device saves it's camera roll to
What's Changed
- upgrade to flutter 3.22.0, overhaul sync code, use new v2 upload api by @TheRedSpy15 in #138
- request sync permissions by @TheRedSpy15 in #139
Full Changelog: 1.4.0...1.5.1
1.4.0
- Slightly faster app launch time, unlikely to make much noticeable difference.
- Bypass web portal login to access stripe checkout.
- Update packages
Next release (1.5.x)
The next major focus will be adding automatic syncing from device camera
What's Changed
- Develop 1.4.0 by @TheRedSpy15 in #136
Full Changelog: 1.3.9...1.4.0
