Built using the [Monaco] (https://microsoft.github.io/monaco-editor/index.html) editor (what VS Code is based on) so it's a real editor with syntax highlighting, intellisense, code folding, and just about everything else VS Code can do.
Also built in are code snippets for the entire CRM JavaScript SDK. The full list can be found here as the same format was used for my VS Code extension.
