Arduino library for using the UBlox EVA7M.
Quick example:
#include <Arduino.h>
#include <Sodaq_UBlox_GPS.h>
#define MySerial SERIAL_PORT_MONITOR
void setup()
{
delay(3000);
while (!SerialUSB) {
// Wait for USB to connect
}
MySerial.begin(57600);
do_flash_led(LED_BLUE);
MySerial.println("SODAQ LoRaONE test_gps is starting ...");
sodaq_gps.init(GPS_ENABLE);
sodaq_gps.setDiag(MySerial);
}
void loop()
{
MySerial.println("waiting in loop() ...");
// Try to get a GPS scan and when we get a fix we print our location. We are
// passing true to keep the GPS enabled after a scan
if (sodaq_gps.scan(true))
{
MySerial.print("We are at latitude ");
MySerial.print(sodaq_gps.getLat(), 13);
MySerial.print(" longitude ");
MySerial.print(sodaq_gps.getLon(), 13);
MySerial.print(" altitude ");
MySerial.print(sodaq_gps.getAlt(), 1);
MySerial.print(" and HDOP ");
MySerial.println(sodaq_gps.getHDOP(), 2);
}
delay(60000);
}
Method | Description |
---|---|
init (int8_t enable_pin) | Initializes the UBlox, and switches it on. |
scan (bool leave_on=false, uint32_t timeout=20000) | Scans all NMEA messages until lat/long is seen. It returns true when a fix is found. |
