What exactly are the render optimisations supposed to achieve? It would be nice if you could enter the bugfix as a separate pull request. |

Optimisations supposed to solve issues with fast scrolling / frequent updates: reduce CPU loading, get rid of GUI freezes and improve responsiveness. |
