Judicial Case Insights (As of July 2024)

This project presents an insightful analysis of judicial cases, focusing on pending cases in both District and High Courts in India. The dashboard provides a comprehensive view of case types, time periods, stages, and KPIs, aimed at providing actionable insights for stakeholders in the judicial system.

Dataset Source:

The dataset used in this project is sourced from the National Judicial Data Grid.

Features

  • District Court Case Insights: Overview of pending cases, cases filed by women and senior citizens, and more.
  • High Court Case Insights: Includes distribution of case types, pending cases by period, and more.
  • Filters: Allows filtering by State/UT, Court Type, and Court Names.
  • KPIs: Displays key metrics like pending cases, cases filed by women and senior citizens, and cases disposed.
  • Charts: Interactive visualizations such as pie charts, stacked bar charts, and clustered column charts.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine, or download the PBIX File and retrieve the dataset from the source provided above.
  2. Import the dataset into Power BI.

  4. Review the Dashboard Images for visual references.
