🌱 I am Shreyasi Mandal, a final-year student in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at IIT Kanpur. My academic journey has been driven by a strong passion for AI and ML research, where I've consistently sought innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence.
During my time at IBM Research, I actively contributed to integrating textual knowledge for Question Answering using Knowledge Graphs. Additionally, I have also contributed to the development of a Knowledge Graph tailored for legal data, enriching my expertise in NLP. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in web development, utilizing ReactJS to build web applications.
I have worked under Prof. Elodie Lugez, at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) in the summers of 2023 as a MITACS intern, where I had created a novel Attention-based AutoEncoder model to improve catheter detection in high-dose-rate prostate brachytherapy, which will help in improving cancer treatment. I have also published a paper at SPIE Medical Imaging :)
Currently, my research focus centers on Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance natural language inference for clinical trials on breast cancer. I am dedicated to perform impactful research to advance technology for the betterment of society.
