SIMBioSys: Software for Intracellular & Molecular Biological Systems

Developed & Maintained by The Salapaka Lab, University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, MN

Vision

SIMBioSys is a tool developed by the Salapaka Lab to achive the following goals:

  • Conduct fundamental research in systems, controls and networks area, and, enable applications using control systems perspectives.
  • Develop and bridge the systems and controls area with that of basic sciences, in particular, with physics and biology at the small scale.
  • Enable solutions to grand challenges facing human kind; current focus being sustainable energy

Research Areas

  • Biophysis
  • Biochemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics
