Campus Connect (v0.5) (Beta Release)

This release improves drastically from our Proof Of Concept, adding a slew of new features and improvements to existing ones, including but not limited to:

  • Anonymous Posting
  • Post Sorting
  • Commenting on Posts
  • Uploading Images with Posts
  • Searching Posts
  • A fully featured Calendar, with the ability to navigate to your classes using GPS
  • A revamped UI for custom profiles
  • Live Events Data being displayed within the app
  • Live Sports Data being displayed within the app
  • A search feature for all Campus Connect Users
  • A fully functional chat, that allows the creation of groups, push notifications, and the ability to chat with anyone within the app.
  • Various UI improvements, such as the use of swipeable items throughout the app

As always, this app is available for both iOS and Android. We will release both versions with this beta. If you have access to the TestFlight app, you will be able to download for your iPhone. Android users can get a fully functional binary from this page.

We recommend uninstalling the app before installing the new version, especially if any issues arise.

Features we plan to implement in the future are:

  • All 600 USC clubs will be scraped and imported into our app's database, with full search functionality and relevant information
  • A revamped UI for Live Events going around USC
  • Any bug fixes that may be apparent during this beta release will be fixed before RC1
