MS Connect is organized into 8 different Tabs that each take the user to a different page that represents a different function.

The main function of MS Connect is to take data and assist in the processing and visualization portions of the program. With each page comes a specific function.

1. The eight connection tabs of MS Connect

Dashboard - Display of Storage and user information

Visualization - Hub for Mass Spec Visualization tools

Processing - Hub for Mass Spec Processing programs

Records - Provides access to every record in the system, through provided search functions. Used to search and open Record Details

Settings - Settings specific to each user. It also redirects to the Advanced Settings page.

Advanced - Connects MS Connect to jupyter

Logout - Logs the user out upon clicking

Help - Hub for other links

2. Help Links

  • Signup for new account - Reroutes the user to the Registration page
  • Admin - Reroutes the user to the Django Admin page
  • Django Logs - Reroutes the user to the Logs page, if the user is an admin
  • Download Latest Uploader - Reroutes the user to the Git page to download the raw file uploader. The raw file uploader is used to upload data to MS Connect
  • Wikis - Reroutes the user to these wikis
  • User Community - Reroutes the user to a community page where MS Connect-related discussions are held
