Migrating DBs FROM MyDNS
I Wrote light script for DB migration from MyDNS format to PowerDNS.
Script is simple, all what user have to do, is fill params to config.inc
and run. Script expecting existing dst DB. Running script on same db for src and dst isn't problem, tables are not overlapping
In case of some error, truncate tables domains
and records
and repeat. Src DB is unaffected.
Script preserving zone ids, but not rr ids. That means expecting empty dst DB - that should be implicit, when you are migrating. Script maybye not covering all datatypes (somebody have to check, if every datatypes are converted right in switch statement inside), but is debuged and worked for me (our 200domains, cca 6k RRs)

For those looking to do it on a DB Server directly, the following lines may be helpful. They assume that you have been using the active record feature within MyDNS and add a simple history to the records. The script assumes further, you remain within the same database if you don't change the sql statements.
The conversion has been done on a live system where pdns was listening on Port 5300 besides mydns on port 53, where I could do all the necessary tests before switching.
