Code of Conduct
Here is the updated Code of Conduct for the AI-PGF program, incorporating the requested changes:
The AI-PGF (Artificial Intelligence Enabled Public Goods Funding) program, operated by Potluck Foundation DAO, LLC ("the DAO"), is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity. All participants, including applicants, grantees, and collaborators, are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct throughout their involvement with the program.
1.1. Participants must act with honesty, integrity, and transparency in all interactions related to the AI-PGF program.
1.2. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying will not be tolerated.
1.3. Participants must respect intellectual property rights and adhere to open-source licensing requirements as specified in the program guidelines.
2.1. All information provided in grant applications must be accurate, complete, and truthful.
2.2. Plagiarism, data fabrication, or misrepresentation of qualifications or project details will result in immediate disqualification.
2.3. Applicants must disclose any potential conflicts of interest during the application process.
3.1. Grant funds must be used solely for the purposes outlined in the approved project proposal.
3.2. Any misuse of funds, including but not limited to embezzlement, unauthorized expenses, or commingling of grant funds with personal accounts, is strictly prohibited.
3.3. Accurate and transparent financial records must be maintained and made available for audit upon request.
4.1. Participants must use the designated NEAR Protocol accounts for all on-chain transactions related to the program.
4.2. Any attempt to manipulate on-chain processes, including but not limited to creating fake accounts, sybil attacks, or exploiting smart contract vulnerabilities, is forbidden.
4.3. Participants must report any discovered vulnerabilities or issues with on-chain processes to the DAO immediately.
5.1. All communication with the DAO and other program participants must be professional and respectful.
5.2. Progress reports and project updates must accurately reflect the current state of the project.
5.3. Any significant changes to the project scope, timeline, or budget must be communicated to the DAO promptly.
6.1. Participants must comply with the open-source requirements specified in the program guidelines.
6.2. Any use of third-party intellectual property must be properly licensed and attributed.
6.3. Projects must be published on GitHub or another code management tool that leverages git, under the MIT license or another lenient open-source license allowing for reuse in commercial settings.
7.1. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in consequences including, but not limited to:
- Rejection of grant application
- Termination of grant funding
- Requirement to return disbursed funds
- Disqualification from future AI-PGF programs
- Legal action in cases of fraud or other illegal activities
7.2. The DAO reserves the right to investigate any suspected violations and make enforcement decisions based on the severity and impact of the violation.
7.3. Participants are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this Code of Conduct to the DAO through the designated channels.
By participating in the AI-PGF program, all individuals and organizations acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
The DAO reserves the right to modify this Code of Conduct at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the program will constitute acceptance of the updated Code of Conduct.
