Section 1 - Download Files

Download or clone this GitHub repository to your local machine.

Tip

If unable to download or clone the repo, download these two files:

• lab-start.yaml

• tags.csv

Section 2 - Feature Toggles

Found under Settings (Gear icon)

Hit Ctrl+Shift+A while in Settings. Additional toggles are revealed

1. Disable Display Network Provisioning Sections
2. Enable Additional Dashboard Panels
3. Enable Additional Dashboards
4. Enable Studios - Workspace Auto-Creation
5. Enable Tags - Import and Export
6. Enable Workspace Island

Note

Workspace Auto-Creation, Workspace Island, and Tag Import and Export are all GA features in CVaaS.

Display Network Provisioning Sections is disabled by default in new CV installations and CVaaS tenants. It can be enabled if required.

Section 3 - Update Inventory

Provisioning → Studios → Inventory and Topology

1. Choose Network Updates
2. Select all updates
3. Click Accept Updates
4. Click Accept
5. Select Review Workspace
6. Click Submit Workspace

Section 4 - Import Tags

Provisioning → Tags

1. Select Import
2. Choose tags.csv (Downloaded in Section 1)

Section 5 - Import Configlets

Provisioning → Studios → Static Configuration

1. Select Actions → Import
2. Choose the lab-start.yaml file downloaded in Section 1
3. Click Review Workspace
4. Choose Submit Workspace
5. Click View Change Control
6. Click Review and Approve
7. Select Execute Immediately and click Approve and Execute
