You can easily create your own validations, just implement the de.psdev.formvalidations.validations.Validation
interface.
EditTextErrorHandler
- displays the validation error on theEditText
using thesetError
method
You can easily create your own error handlers, just implement the de.psdev.formvalidations.FormErrorHandler
interface.
Create validation form and add some validations
final Form mForm = Form.create();
mForm.addField(Field.using(mNameEditText).validate(NotEmpty.build()));
mForm.addField(Field.using(mEmailEditText).validate(NotEmpty.build()).validate(IsEmail.build()));
mForm.addField(Field.using(mAgeEditText).validate(InRange.build(0, 120)));
mForm.errorHandler(new EditTextErrorHandler());
Check if the form is valid
private void submit() {
if (mForm.isValid()) {
Toast.makeText(this, "Form is valid", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
}
}
