Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) The Postdam Institute provides the PRIMAP-hist dataset, which combines several published datasets to create a comprehensive set of greenhouse gas emission pathways for every country and Kyoto gas covering the years 1850 to 2017, and all UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) member states, as well as most non-UNFCCC territories. The Joint Research Center of Euorpean Commission The Joint Research center produces the Emission Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR). EDGAR provides independent estimates of the global anthropogenic emissions and emission trends, based on publicly available statistics, for the atmospheric modeling community as well as for policy makers. This scientific independent emission inventory is characterized by a coherent world historical trend from 1970 to year x-3, including emissions of all greenhouse gases, air pollutants and aerosols. Data are presented for all countries, with emissions provided per main source category, and spatially allocated on a 0.1x0.1 grid over the globe World scale

European Union Emissions Trading System (EU-ETS) EU-ETS is the biggest greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme operates in all EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. It limits emissions from around 10,000 installations in the power sector and manufacturing industry, as well as airlines operating between these countries, and covers around 40% of the EU's greenhouse gas emissions. EUETS.INFO is an indenpendant site developed by a researcher (Jan Abrell) using EU-ETS data and providing additional information : It leverages the installations' addresses to derive locations using the Google Maps API. Then transactions data is linked to the involved accounts, former operator holding accounts are linked to to the respective installations, and finally, duplicated account holders are eliminated. CEDS The Community Emissions Data System (CEDS) produces consistent estimates of global air emissions species over the industrial era (1750 - present). The system is written in R and uses open-source data (with the exception of the IEA energy statistics which must be purchased from IEA). CEDS is publicly available through an Open Source License. It produces annual national, sectoral, and monthly gridded emissions of a number of greenhouse gases and pollutants, including CO2. CEDS estimates are to be used in the sixth round of Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) for climate models Country scale

UNFCCC-CRF UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) provides quantitative emissions inventories submitted by Annex 1 parties via a detailed Common Reporting Format (CRF), due 15 April every year. In 2019, 45 countries submitted. Energy emissions are estimated using a bottom-up, demand-side, energy consumption approach, called the sectoral approach. In addition, a reference approach, using coarser, national-level, supply-side data, is used to produce a cross check. Country scale UNFCCC-CRF Get Data
PRIMAP-crf PRIMAP-crf is a processed version of data reported by countries to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in the Common Reporting Format (CRF). The processing has three key aspects:
Data from individual countries and years are combined into one CSV file,
Data is re-organised to follow the IPCC 2006 hierarchical categorisation,
Baskets of gases are calculated according to different global warming potential estimates from each of the three most recent IPCC reports.
