Releases: OpenGATE/IDEAL
IDEAL v1.1
The IDEAL v1.1 release includes the following new features:
- New user interfaces: in addition to its command line interface (
clidc.py
), IDEAL v1.1 offers the possibility to start simulations via an API, running on the http and https protocols. Moreover, it is now easier to integrate an IDC simulation in a custom python script, as IDEAL's functionalities are interfaced by theideal_simulation
class, which can be import fromideal/impl/ideal_module.py
. - Keep track of your simulations over time. The status of all the simulations started via IDEAL, together with other information like output and working directory of the job and its condor ID, can now be monitored by launching the
bin/log_daemon.py
program.
The release also includes minor bug fixes.

1.0 release of IDEAL/pyidc
Finally!
This is the baseline release of IDEAL, as developed by EBG MedAustron GmhH, ACMIT Gmbh and the Medical University of Vienna. The work will continue at MedAustron, with support from MUV and volunteers (now that the code is open source). Please check the docs:
This release (1.0): https://pyidc.readthedocs.io/en/1.0
The bleeding edge: https://pyidc.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
Note that IDEAL is not yet installable with pip
. This will be the focus of the next release (probably 1.1). There are several more upgrade wishes, check the TODO list if you would like to contribute.

Another test release. Looks like "read the docs" does not like it when there is a "v" in front of the version number.
